- They must be original or from the public domain (e.g., a poem by an author who died over 70 years ago).
⏱️ 5. Duration
- Songs must be between 2:00 and 5:00 minutes in length.
- Silence at the end doesn’t count toward duration, as long as the music itself ends by 5:00.

Use the English name of the country. Only more known acronyms like USA

You can pick whatever country you want to represent your song, even if you’re not from the country you picked.
Tip: Keep your title under 55 characters to avoid truncation in voting polls.
🔞 7. PG-13 Content & Copyright
All visible content (lyrics, title, image, style prompt, author name) must follow PG-13 standards:
- ❌ No expletives or foul language
- ❌ No drug use, racism, discrimination, or political references
- ❌ No direct references to copyrighted or trademarked material
- ✅ AI hallucinations are still subject to these rules
✅ 8. Compliance
- All songs will be reviewed for compliance.
- If your submission doesn’t meet the rules, we’ll request corrections—with limited time to fix them.
- Songs may still be disqualified later if rule-breaking content is discovered.
- Intentional violations (e.g., hiding lyrics, offensive language) may result in bans from future SSCs.
🔚 9. Song Ending
Songs must have a proper ending.
No abrupt terminations (e.g., cutting off mid-note).
♻️ 10. No Previous SSC Songs
You may submit previously published songs, as long as they haven’t competed in any prior SSC season, including challenge tracks.
🚫 11. No Other Creator Challenges
To avoid overlap with official Suno challenges, SSC7 will not accept songs made for:
- Suno Official Challenges
- Community Challenges
- Or any other branded creator contests
🎹 12. Suno Features
As per Suno’s current features, those rules will apply:
- Remix are allowed, but only if the remixes source song (the song it has been generated from) is from the same author of the remix, and the original song has not been used in a previous SSC contest, be it in the main contest or a challenge
- Uploads are allowed, but ONLY if they are used to generate a song in Suno from it. Songs made outside of Suno and uploaded are not accepted
Which means:
You can freely use the Suno Remix features on your own songs to create something from it. You can use Replace Section, Cover, Use Style & Lyrics and all the other features of a song that was made solely by you to create something different from it and use it for the SSC
You can upload an audio that was created outside of Suno by yourself, like in a DAW or with real instruments, and use it to create a song in Suno with it
👤 13. Contests’ Persona
The usage of a Persona, that is created from any kind of song from an official Suno contest is not allowed in any kind or form.
The original song, a copyrighted work, will always play part in that persona and we can never guarantee that there won’t be claims or take down requests because some beats or lines represent the original song.
Stick to the rules, and let’s make SSC7 the best one yet! 🎉
